
Adult Education GED Program
Wakulla County Schools GED Program
Our GED classes are in person. Students must be at least 16 years to enroll and must provide withdrawal from any K-12 program.
Students under the age of 18 are required to enroll in day classes.
Our day classes are Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 7:30 am – 1:30 pm.
Students must provide their own transportation.
Classes are also offered at night for our students over 18 years of age on Mondays at the Panacea Welcome Center from 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm and on Tuesday and Thursday at 69 Arran Rd from 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm.
Our classes provide direct instruction for each subject and are self-paced.
We utilize the Kaplan GED Test Prep book and the Essential Education program as 2 of the more frequently used programs for our students.
An Underage Waiver is required for students under 18 to take the GED test and can be accessed at GEDagewaiver@fldoe.org.
Cost
Classes are $30 per semester (i.e. August – December and January – May)
GED test are Reading through Language, Math, Science and Social Studies are $38 per test or $152 for all four subjects paid through GED.com once an account is set up.
