Dance marathon revel

Wakulla High School students came together for a cause, raising an impressive $3,014.17 for the Florida State University Dance Marathon—doubling their contribution from last year. This marks the second year the school has participated in the annual event, which supports children in need of specialized pediatric and medical care.

WHS Senior and Dance Marathon Board Member Ava George shared her excitement about the experience, saying, “Dance Marathon is such a fun and unique event. I’m grateful to be part of something that makes a real difference.”

FSU’s Dance Marathon benefits Children’s Miracle Network and the FSU College of Medicine’s Pediatric Outreach Programs, helping provide critical care and services to children who may not otherwise have access to them. Wakulla High School’s fundraising efforts directly contribute to the larger Dance Marathon event at Florida State University, where thousands of students come together to support the cause.

By dancing, fundraising, and spreading awareness, Wakulla High students are proving that every dollar counts in making a difference for children in need.
