Personal:
I have been married to Jan Pearce, a Kindergarten Teacher at Crawfordville Elementary School, since 1990. We have two children. Becca, 27, graduated from Wakulla High School in 2012. She was a War Eagle Cheerleader and participated in the Medical Academy. She later graduated form TCC and currently works as a dental hygenist. Tucker, 25, graduated Wakulla High School and participated on both the Golf Club and Soccer Team. He plans to graduate from FSU with a degree in communications focusing on media production.
Mr. Pearce enjoys golfing, camping , football, traveling and spending time with his family.
Mr. Pearce is a career educator. As a teacher he spent time working with students of all ages through curriculum, coaching, and mentoring. As a principal he led his faculty and staff to a school grade of an A for seven straight years. As Superintendent he is a champion for public education. He works to ensure students are offered the best curriculum, teachers, administrators and college/career options possible as they matriculate from primary to secondary school under his watch. He is a proponent of career and technical education (CTE) and under his leadership has added six new CTE programs for students from grades 3-12.
