ATTENDANCE AND DRESS CODE

WAKULLA HIGH ANNOUNCES DRESS CODE AND ATTENDANCE POLICIES The dress code will remain the same as last year with the addition that no low cut shirts or blouses may be worn. Students can still wear flip-flops and hats, but hats may not be worn in the classroom. All students will wear clothes that do not show any skin from the top of the knees to the shoulders. Students may not wear any spaghetti straps or expose any under garments. If pants have holes in them they must be patched above the knee so that no skin shows through them. Students are not permitted to wear pajamas on campus. No clothing or hats can promote the use of alcohol or tobacco or have sexual innuendos. Cell phones cannot be seen or heard at any time during school hours. Cell phone use is permitted before the first bell to come into the building and immediately after school. Any student that violates cell phone rules will have the phone confiscated and the parent will have to pick the phone up at school. No MP3’s, IPOD’s, or any other electronic device is allowed unless used as part of a particular lesson and permission is given by the teacher. These devices will be taken and may only be picked up by a parent.
Students will be required to present third party documentation, i.e. doctors

illness, to excuse any absence after three absences per six weeks. |
