Announcements: Updated 2/22

• The NHS chapter at Wakulla High School is sponsoring a blood drive Thursday, February 28, 2008 from 8:30am-2-30pm. Students need to be at least 16 (16 year olds must come with a signed parent permission slip) and have a picture ID verifying their age.
• Congragulations to the 2008 Track team that made its debut yesterday afternoon at the Rickard's Relays in Tallahassee. SOlid performances were turned in by 4x200, 4x800 and the distance medley. The girls 4x200 team placed first in their event. The teams compete next at the Lincoln meet on Tuesday, Feb. 26th.
• Congratulations to the Boys Tennis team for your victory over Madison 7-0, then Godby 7-0. Congragulations to our Girls Tennis team for their victory over Godby 8-0. Boys are now 2-0 and Girls 1-0.

• Congratulations to the War Eagles Wrestling team for placing 10th this past weekend at the state tournament. Ryan Qualls placed 4th at 145 lbs. and Trey McCullough placed 2nd at 125 lbs. A special thanks goes out to all state qualifiers in their efforts which make it possible for the team to place in the Top 10.
• On Fridays during February the library will be broadcasting the series, “History of Black Achievement”:
