Content: The purpose of this course is to provide students with an investigative study of the theories and laws associated with the natural physical and chemical properties of nature. Earning a credit in this course precludes earning a credit in Physical Science. Lab Class. Prerequisite: Algebra I with a "C" or better.



Biology (2000310) Credit: 1.0 Grade: 10
Content: The purpose of this course is to provide exploratory experiences and laboratory and real-life applications in the biological sciences. Lab Class.



Biology I Honors (2000320) Credit: 1.0 Grade: 10
Content: This course teaches traditional biology for those going to a four year university. Lab Class. Earning a credit in Biology I Honors precludes earning a credit in Biology. Prerequisite: "C" or better in Physical Science Honors.



Advanced Placement Biology (2000340) Credit 1.0 Grade: 12
Content: the purpose of this course is to provide a study of facts, principles, and processes of biology and the collection, interpretation, and formulation of hypotheses from available data. Lab Class. Prerequisite: Chemistry. Application and committee recommendation required.



Chemistry I ( 2003340) Credit: 1.0 Grade: 11-12
Content: The content includes composition, properties, and changes associated with matter. Lab Class. Earning a credit in Chemistry I precludes earning in Chemistry I Honors.
Prerequisite: Completion of Biology and Algebra I with a "C" or higher.
Co-requisite: Algebra II or Geometry.



Chemistry I Honors (2003350) Credit: 1.0 Grade 11-12
Content: The purpose of this course is to provide students with a rigorous study of the composition, properties, and changes associated with matter. Lab Class. Earning a credit in Chemistry Honors precludes earning a credit in Chemistry I. Because of the math involved, prerequisites include, Algebra II and Biology with a "C" or higher.

Environmental Science (2001340) Credit: 1.0 Grade: 11
Content: This course provides students with a study of effects of technology on air, water, and land quality, including areas for conservation and pollution control. Prerequisite: "D" or higher in Physical Science and Biology.



Physics I Credit: 1.0 Grade: 12
Content: The purpose of this course is to provide opportunities to the concepts, theories, and laws governing the interaction of matter, energy, and forces, and their applications through exploratory investigations and activities. Prerequisite: "C" or better in Algebra II and Chemistry.
