  • The Criminal Justice Program at Wakulla High School is currently open for enrollment! Any student interested in enrolling for the 2008-2009 school year needs to contact the WHS Guidance Department at 850/926-7125.
    This Career and Technical Program is designed to prepare students for careers and further education in the Criminal Justice field. Content includes ethics, constitutional law, patrol & traffic procedures, defensive tactics, first aid, interpersonal & communication skills, investigation procedures, forensics, crime prevention, court & trial systems, court & trial procedures, correctional system, employability skills and more.
    The year-long courses that comprise this program are:
    • Criminal Justice 1
    • Criminal Justice 2
    • Criminal Justice 3
  • Summer School Dates:
    Session 2 - July 1st - 17th
    Each Session is worth 1/2 credit. Click here for details.
  • Class of 2009: Look in "Class Information" > "Class of 2009", for information about senior pictures and yearbook pages.
  • Wakulla High is closed on Fridays through the summer.
  • Teachers report back to school August 11th and students report back August 18th (early release).
  • Visit the WHS library online to see what's available at Destiny Wakulla High School. Make sure to click Catalog.
  • Take part in the WHS Summer Reading Program. Check these fliers for more information: Summer Reading Brochure, Summer Reading Journal, Journal Requirements, Poster Requirements. Books are available for check out in the front office. Call for more details.
  • Wakulla County School District was awarded $130,000 and will be matching that investment with $185,420 to expand its existing medical academy by adding Project Lead the Ways Biomedical Science curriculum at Wakulla High School To read more about this grant click here. Student interest in the academy is encouraging to the teachers who are training this summer to make the academy a success!
  • Attention Students in the Class of 2009: Are you interested in obtaining a Congressional nomination to one of the United States Service Academies for the class of 2009? Applications are available in guidance from Ms. Simmons or you can go on-line at http://billnelson.senate.gov.
  • Make sure to check out "Class Information" for Senior, Junior, Sophomore and Freshman information. Class of '08, check your page for graduation dates and times; Class of '09 check for information pertaining to Senior portraits and Yearbook Senior pages.
