2007-08 CLASS MOTTO:

We laughed until we had to cry, we loved right down to our last goodbye, but over the years we'll smile and recall, just for one moment we had it all.

  • Take part in the WHS Summer Reading Program. Check these fliers for more information: Summer Reading Brochure, Summer Reading Journal, Journal Requirements, Poster Requirements.
  • Congratulations To Jeremiah McCallister, third place winner in Holocaust Essay Contest! Click here for a picture.
  • Attention track participants: The annual awards banquet will be held on Saturday, May 17th at Myra Jeans in Crawfordville. Flyers providing specific details are available from the track bulletin board outside the main office. A sign up sheet is also posted on the bulletin board; please sign it so we can have an accurate count of the number planning to attend. Also, flyers for the up-coming 5k at Wakulla Springs are posted on the track and cross bulletin board. This race will be held on May 17th. Everyone is encouraged to participate.
  • Baccalaureate practice will be Wednesday morning, May 28th @ 8:30 am, at the football stadium. The Baccalaureate Service will be held Wednesday Night, May 28th @ 7 pm, at the football stadium.
    Graduation practice will be Friday morning, May 30th @ 8:30 am, at the football stadium. The Graduation Ceremony will be held Friday Night, May 30th @ 7:30 pm, at the football stadium.
  • The boys and girls basketball teams will be facing off against Team Cobra out of Columbus MS in a communities showcase on May 3rd at 12:30. Free to the public. Please come and support your classmates.
  • Wakulla County School District was awarded $130,000 and will be matching that investment with $185,420 to expand its existing medical academy by adding Project Lead the Ways Biomedical Science curriculum at Wakulla High School To read more about this grant click here.
  • Attention Students in the Class of 2009: Are you interested in obtaining a Congressional nomination to one of the United States Service Academies for the class of 2009? Applications are available in guidance from Ms. Simmons or you can go on-line at http://billnelson.senate.gov.
  • Saving pays off! All students who are members of the War Eagle Credit Union and who were approved to receive a student visa card from August 20, 2007 to May 20, 2008 are eligible to enter a drawing to win an Ipod. Students must be present on the day of the drawing (5/20/08) to win the Ipod.
  • Make sure to check out "Class Information" for Senior, Junior, Sophomore and Freshman information. Class of '08, check your page for graduation dates and times; Class of '09 check for information pertaining to Senior portraits and Yearbook Senior pages.
  • There is an opportunity for students to earn community service hours working in the library at Crawfordville Elementary School from 2-3:00 p.m. Monday to Friday. Any students interested should contact the school at 926-3641.
